There are many distinct features of Message Magic (MM), all aimed at making your Skype experience more complete and powerful. Some say it is kind of like having Skype on steroids! Here are some key elements.

MM is a Skype add-on product that increases the power of Skype. Skype allows someone to search 1 pattern at a time, add 1 contact at a time, send 1 message at a time, see 1 profile at a time, see and process 1 birthday notification at a time.

With the MM add-on the "1" gets replaced by "as many as you want". • MM can save your entire chat history so you 1) have a backup, and 2) search through ALL history looking for key words.

• MM can translate messages to almost any language on the planet (using the Google translation engine). What that means is this: you can create a message in your native language and when the message is sent to the recipient they will receive the message in THEIR native language. I can't tell you how many times I've been told by an online friend that they ARE impressed I "take the time" to translate to their language... and it doesn't matter one bit that the translation isn't perfect.



• MM can find any group chat you have ever been in and allow you to load all users into the profiling window at the same time.



• Many contact management features.

So go ahead, use MM to load the list of people whose birthday is today, craft your special greeting which probably contains Emoticons (the message is likely copy/pasted or brought in by loading a prewritten greeting), select all, check the box telling MM to auto-translate to the recipients language, press send. That took you all of 2 minutes or less and you've made a few people feel good. Believe me, making people feel good is the right thing to do and you should do it as often as possible!

On the contact management side, features include: easily adding contacts to one or more Skype categories at once, removing contacts from one or more Skype categories at once, bulk deletion of unresponsive or old contacts, automatic filtering out contacts who do not want (or just shouldn't get) broadcast messages.

Other basic functions which Skype should but doesn't provide: backup, view and/or restore contact categories and the users contained in each of those categories.
