If you're getting the Error 1001 message when attempting to install Message Magic the most common reason we've seen is missing or corrupted versions of Microsoft .NET Framework.

Please review your installed versions of Microsoft .NET Framework and ensure you have all versions from 1.1 to 3.5 SP1 inclusive.

It is also useful to get a complete snapshot of your system. The best software we've seen to give you that snapshot is with the free program called the Belarc Advisor. You can get it here:

Please get it, install it, run it and tell it to scan your system. It will create an html file that I'd like you to email as an attachment to admin@messagemagic.net or send the file to me via Skype chat. My Skype id is webloot.
